Matero Boys Secondary School (MaBoys) is a ministry of the Marianists in the Region of Eastern Africa. It is situated in a poor neighbourhood on the outskirts of Lusaka, the capital city of Zambia.

 

MaBoys selects high-performing primary school graduates who often come from poor families, offering   them a quality and holistic education. 

 

The school offers secondary education to young men who attend grades 8 through 12. With a population of 650 students, MaBoys is “home away from home” for many needy young men.

MaBoys has, in many ways, lived up to her motto: “Deeds Not Words.”  In offering a quality and integral Marianist Education, Maboys has shaped  the future of a whole generation that will be at the service of the country and the church.
